Legal FAQ

Common questions about trust, privacy and platform use

No. GharGrid generally operates as a technology-enabled property discovery, listing, verification-support, marketing and lead-management platform. The actual transaction parties and their authorised representatives remain responsible for property information, negotiations, documentation, payments and legal compliance unless GharGrid expressly enters a separate written agreement for a specific service.

No. Verification is a risk-reduction and information-quality process. It does not replace an advocate’s title search, government record verification, physical inspection, valuation, technical due diligence, RERA review where applicable, registration or independent professional advice.

Depending on how the platform is used, GharGrid may collect account information, contact details, login and device data, property details, uploaded media, enquiry information, membership and payment records, communications, support requests, referral attribution and consent or preference records.

Data may be processed to create and secure accounts, publish and verify listings, connect users, deliver requested services, process memberships and referrals, prevent fraud, resolve complaints, improve the platform, meet legal obligations and communicate relevant service information.

You may submit an applicable access, correction, completion, update, erasure, consent-withdrawal or grievance request through the privacy or grievance contact shown on this page. Some information may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, security, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.

A user should list a property only when they are the owner, a lawful co-owner, an authorised broker, developer, employee, representative or another person with a legitimate and lawful basis to market it.

Yes. GharGrid may review, restrict, reject, unpublish or remove listings that appear misleading, duplicated, unauthorised, outdated, unlawful, unsafe, discriminatory, infringing, fraudulent, technically harmful or inconsistent with platform quality standards.

Explorer currently allows up to two pending or active listings. Both listings awaiting review and active published listings consume the limit. Paid plans may allow unlimited listings during their active validity, subject to fair-use, verification and marketplace rules.

No. Membership provides defined platform features and eligibility benefits, but outcomes depend on demand, pricing, property quality, availability, legal readiness, market conditions, response speed and the member’s own conduct.

A paid membership becomes active only after the payment is successfully verified and the order is activated. Submitting a transaction reference does not itself confirm payment or activate benefits.

Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances, payment status, activation, service use, duplicate payment, technical failure and applicable law. Activated memberships and services already supplied may be non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

Where enabled, eligible users may receive a unique code or link. A reward may become payable only after a genuinely referred user completes an eligible purchase, payment is verified, the validation period ends and all referral terms, identity checks and payout requirements are satisfied.

No. Self-referrals, fake accounts, circular payments, duplicate identities, fabricated conversions, unauthorised incentives and other attempts to manipulate attribution or rewards may be rejected, reversed or lead to account restrictions.

GharGrid does not intend to sell personal information as a standalone data product. Information may, however, be disclosed to service providers, payment partners, authorised transaction participants, professional advisers, authorities or other parties where required to deliver services, protect rights or comply with law.

Use the contact information in the Contact and Grievance section. Include your name, registered contact details, relevant listing or order reference, a clear description of the issue and supporting evidence. Never send passwords, OTPs or unnecessary sensitive documents by ordinary email.
